Shamalamadingdong Valentine              My full name is Shamalamadingdong, but people usually call me Shay or Shamalama : D. Next year I will be a freshman at Omaha South. I am 14 and I have four brothers that are 32, 28, 24, and 13. I like spending most of my time at Benson Baptist Church, at youth group, church, or working and helping out at the K.I.D.S. program. This summer I’ve been on an amazing mission trip to the Gulf Coast of Mississippi and I’ve also done an American Baptist Churches music and drama camp. After I finish softball I’m going to drive a tractor in the Sandhills. I’m excited to see the finished product of our MURAL!!!!! : P June 22, 2007         Today I came at 8:30 to finish the lettering and then I worked on the post office. I was nervous to do the shading. :\ I was glad to work for the whole day!! I think we’ll have to work fast and hard to finish by Tuesday! It’ll be awesome though because we are pretty amazing!! :] June 26, 2007 Today we finished by outlining and finishing the gardens. Two newspaper people came to do a story. :P Everyone was very fidgety and I don’t think the pop and ice cream calmed anyone down. :d The mural looks good, especially from a distance… :] I’m gonna miss Marrs a ton and a half. I’ll miss Mrs. Deike and Mr. Auch Moedy immensely, and I words can’t express how thankful I am to them for expanding my knowledge of art. I’ll especially miss the library and I might even eventually miss Mr. Keel! lol! :D
