June 21, 2006 Hi my name is Yomna. I go to Marrs Magnet school.  I am also in a mural class. In mural class we paint and outline a mural that 2 classes have painted. Today was my first day so I wasn’t prepared for paint to get on my nice shirt. I usually don’t get paint on my shirt. June 22, 2006 Today I was prepared to get paint on my shirt  so I brought another shirt and I did not get a single drop of paint on it. I am very happy to be in this class because I love to paint  and I don’t get the chance to paint. And I am going to miss it when it is over. June23,2006 Today I forgot my shirt .But luckly I did not get paint on it. Today we tried to finish the mural but there was’nt enough time. So we will  try to finish on Monday and call the Omaha World Hearld so they can put it in the paper. June 26,2006 Today we finished the mural 2 teachers are going to call the Omaha World Herald and the channel 7.  They are are tring  to make an appointment so they can inenterview us . I am also a little mad because today is our last day to paint and all that stuff. June27,2006 Today the Omaha World Herald came and interviewed us and took pictures of the group. Then we went back to the room and ate cookies with frosting.  It was good! Then we  went back outside got interviewed by Channel 6 news. Finally we went back to the room and started playing games. Then it was time to write in our journal and this is what I wrote.
