Dear PTA Members and Harrison Family,
April is just about here and though we are bringing another school year to close we still have several fun PTA events to enjoy with our students and a new playground to pay for before the 2007 -2008 school year! This month we should hear news on one of our possible large grants for the playground so we'll keep you posted. Your help and support is needed!
To help fund the playground please consider participating in the following:
**InPlay $10 game cards fundraiser begins Monday, April 9, and culminates with the first-time ever InPlay Harrison Night on April 19th from 4 - 8 P.M. (1/2 price games!). The top three student sellers win the following:
1st Place: A brand new bike!
2nd Place: $100 gift card to Toy's R Us!
3rd Place: An InPlay birthday party for 10!
Winners will be announced on April 19th at the Harrison InPlay Night, 4 - 8 P.M. Our school earns $5 from every $10 card sold and the cards can be redeemed at any time at InPlay. The cards are worth 45 game points but double on Sundays and between the hours of 4 - 8 on week days.
**Harrison Night at CiCi's Pizza on Saddlecreek held Thursday, May 17, from 5:00 to 8:00! Mention you are with Harrison Elementary and Harrison earns a percentage of all sales!
**Brick Paver Project currently 2 lines per brick ($40), 3 lines ($50), business double bricks ($250) and corporation double bricks with logo ($500). Beginning May 25th a brick with up to three lines will sell for $100 each so purchase your bricks now at the special price mentioned above. Click here to print an order form for the brick pavers (the form might look blurry in your browser, but it prints fine). All proceeds this year will fund the playground.
**Personal Donations are always accepted. Please make check out to Harrison School PTA and include a note where you'd like the money to go: General Fund, Teacher Star Grants, Playground, other.
